Ingredients For Awadhi Muh Mitha Recipe
Milk 250ml
Mawa : 100gm
Appricot ( Without seeds) :5-6
Ghee for deep fry
Milk Bread -4 pieces
Cashew - 10-12 pieces dusted
Meetha aatar -1-2 drops
Red chilli powder -1/2 teaspoon
Lemon -1
Sugar -1.5cups
pinch of salt
fennel seeds -5-6
Cardamon powder -1tea spoon
Procedure In a pan heat milk, grate the mawa , Add 1/2 cup sugar and mix them in low flame, Stir it continuously , add Cardamom powder, once the mixture thickenkens, turn off the flam. Por the mixxture in a container and keep it in freezer for 2 hours at least. Step-2. In pan add water - 1 cup, add sugar 1 cup and heat it,till the sugar melts and attains a thick concentration. Add 1 teaspoon of lemon juice in the sugar mixture. Step-3. Soak the appricots in warm water for 10-20 mins, then in a grinder add, soaked appricots,, 4 tablepoon of water fennel seeds and make a mixture.In a pan , add the mixture, add salt, red chilli powder and mix everything and boil for 2 mins. Turn off the flame and add 2 tea spoons of lemon Juice. Step-4 : Cut the sides of the breads and cut them from middle makin 2 equal triangles. in a pan, add ghee , once the ghee is hot, add the Breads one by one and deep fry them Step-5: in a plate add the breads , add sugar pulp, appricot pulp, mawa mixture, garnish with grated cashew and serve.
