Golabari style kasha mutton


Ingredients

1. Mutton 350 gm

2. Onion slice half cup

3. Onion paste 1

4. Ginger garlic paste 2 tablespoon

5. Ghee 2 tablespoon

6. Mustard oil 8-10 tablespoon

7. Garam masala whole

8. Roasted garam masala ( cardamom, cinnamon, bayleaf, red chilli whole, nutmeg, mace, white cumin) make a fine powder after roasting them

9. Red chilli powder

10. Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon

11. Curd 4 tablespoons

12. Salt

13. Sugar 1 teaspoon



Process

Marinate mutton overnight with curd, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste 1 table spoon

In a pan add oil and ghee. Add garam masala ( whole), sugar, onion slices and fry it till it is brown. Add ginger garlic paste, roasted garam masala powder and cook it for 10 mins. Add marinated mutton , salt. Mix everything well and cook it for 15mins.

Add half cup of boiled water and cover the pan. Allow the mutton to boil in a low flame for 30 mins.

Open  the cover after 30 mins.

Serve it with rice / roti.
