Fish Polao
Ingredients
1. 2 pieces of rohu fish
2. Basmati rice 50 gm
3. Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon.
4. Pepper 1 teaspoon
5. Refined oil 2 tbsp
6. Ghee 2 tbsp
7. Rose water 1 teaspoon
8. Saffron soaked in milk
9. Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon
10. Salt
11. Sugar
12. Garam masala whole
Procedure
Soak rice for half an hour
Drain excess water
Add ghee ( 1 tbsp), turmeric powder pepper and garam masala powder
Add refined oil in pan
Fry fish in refined oil
Add 1 tbsp of garam masala whole
Add soaked rice
Add boiled water ( ratio of water to rice is 2:1)
Add rose water, saffron ( soaked in milk)
Salt , sugar to taste ( remember the water will dry up hence consider amount of salt)
Cover the pan and let the rice cook for 5 minutes
Serve it hot
