 Aloo Tikki

Ingredients for tikki

1. Boiled potatoes 3 medium sized

2. Ginger garlic paste 2 tablespoon

3. Chopped green corriander leaves 1/2 cup

4. Chopped green chillies 3/4

5. Corriander powder 1 teaspoon

6. Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon

7. Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon

8. Chopped onion 1

9. Salt

10.egg 1

11. Cornflour 1 teaspoon

12. Refined oil


Ingredients for chutney

1. Ginger 1/2 inch

2. Garlic 3/4 cloves

3. Green corriander leaves 1/2 cup

4. Pudina leaves 1/2 cup

5. Lemon juice (1 medium sized)

6. Green chillies 3/4

7.salt

8.sugar 1/4 teaspoon

9.chat masala 1 teaspoon



Process to make tikka


Smash potatoes add onion, green chillies, ginger garlic paste, corriander leaves, corriander powder , garam masala powder, red chilli powder, cornflour,salt and make a tight doe

Refrigerate it for 1-2 hours.

Heat oil in pan. Break the egg in a bowl, add pinch of salt and mix it well.

Apply oil on your palm. Take small part from the doe and flatten it and set aside.

Dip the tikkis in egg and fry it in hot oil.




Process to make chutney


In a mixer jar add ginger, garlic, green chillies, corriander leaves, pudina leaves, salt, sugar, lemon juice. Do not add any water initially.

Mix it for 3-4 times until a smooth paste is made. In case water is required, add 1 teaspoon of it. Add chat masala to it and serve in a bowl.
